Our Story

lotus-dash was founded in 2019 by a group of software engineers frustrated with the gap between what coding bootcamps taught and what companies actually needed. We set out to create something different: courses built around real projects, taught by people still working in the field.

Five years later, we have helped over 2,000 Canadians learn Python programming, with graduates now working at companies ranging from local startups to national enterprises. Our approach remains the same: practical skills first, theory when it matters, and constant feedback to keep our curriculum relevant.

What Makes Us Different

Our teaching philosophy centers on doing, not just watching

Industry Practitioners

Every instructor currently works in software development, data science, or DevOps. They bring current tools and practices directly into the classroom.

Cohort-Based Learning

You learn alongside a fixed group of peers, building connections that often lead to job referrals and collaboration long after graduation.

Career Support

Resume reviews, mock interviews, and introductions to our hiring partners help bridge the gap between finishing a course and starting a new role.
